
CTU Carmen College of Education conducts its pinning ceremony on April 1, 2022, at the Campus gymnasium with the theme “Teaching Internship in the New Normal: Reshaping the Future of Education.”
The Supreme Student Council President, Mr Ryan Morales, with the different class mayors of the graduating class of Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics, organized the face to face pinning event.
The assistant Campus director and the faculty of the College of Education graced the event to express their support for the future teachers.
The pinning ceremony marks a milestone in the teacher candidates’ commitment to lifelong learning and professionalism. It indicates that the recipients have achieved the required “character and competence” to engage in practice teaching. “PIN” symbolizes that you are recognized Practice teachers of CTU Carmen Campus, said Dr Ursina S.
Juntilla, Dean College of Education.
According to Professor Anna Marie Neiz, Chairperson of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics, “It is the first time the campus had the pinning ceremony since it started to offer Education Programs. She also expressed her delight that it will be the practice teachers’ starting pedagogic journey outside the campus premises.
