In accordance with Section 30 of CHED Memorandum Order No. 09, series of 2013, titled “Enhanced Policies and Guidelines on Student Affairs and Services,” Cebu Technological University upholds a commitment to fostering an environment that respects and supports the free expression of individual religious beliefs. The university ensures that the right to religious freedom is protected and observed within its community.
As stated in the 2015 edition of the Student Manual, religious organizations may operate within the university upon receiving accreditation from the Student Affairs and Services. Once accredited, these organizations are granted the freedom to carry out their activities and services in accordance with their approved calendar. This includes access to university venues, facilities, and equipment; permission to post announcements; the ability to sponsor or lead events; and the opportunity to represent the university in external engagements, among other privileges.
