𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀: 𝗖𝗧𝗨-𝗖𝗖𝗠𝗦𝗖 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗢 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗣𝗥 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

CEBU CITY — Faculty and staff of Cebu Technological University – Cebu City Mountain Satellite Campus (CTU-CCMSC) took part in a Basic Life Support – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BLS-CPR) training conducted by the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

The initiative, led by CTU-CCMSC DRRM Officer Mr. Jhoven Leyson, aimed to equip participants with essential life-saving skills. “This training is vital for every educator and campus staff,” Mr. Leyson said. “Knowing how to respond during the first critical minutes of a medical emergency can make the difference between life and death.”

Expert rescuers from CDRRMO — Mr. Alben T. Baylon, Mr. Junlard F. Tangayan, Mr. John Vincent Tizon, and Mr. Marc Erzel B. Quijano — facilitated the training, guiding participants through hands-on CPR techniques such as chest compressions and rescue breathing.

Faculty and staff expressed gratitude for the session, saying it boosted their confidence and readiness to respond in emergencies. The university’s collaboration with CDRRMO reflects its strong commitment to safety and community preparedness.
