The Cebu Technological University-Internationalization and ASEAN Integration found a global linkage to give students a work experience in industrial placement or internship, called sandwich degrees offered by Universities. Thus Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering student applied to such a program in Japan and was given the privilege to qualify and join this international journey.
CTU-DaanBantayan student Ms. Nina Philip Masong, was accepted as an exchange student from September 2022 through January 2023 at Shibaura Institute of Technology in Japan.
Through her perseverance, she was the second lucky student from the Campus to qualify to study abroad.
A sandwich degree, or sandwich course, is an academic degree or higher education course (also known as tertiary education) involving practical work experience and academic study.
DaanBantayan Campus is doing its best to compete with the other races to join the Exchange Student Internationally.
