On a lively Friday, May 12, the university’s gymnasium buzzed with excitement as all PE 4 students gathered for the Physical Education Culmination 2023. This event, “Education: A Friendly Game,” aimed to enhance student’s skills and abilities while assessing their progress throughout the session.
The festivities started with a vibrant parade from the College of Education field to the CTU gym, featuring enthusiastic participation from Mr. and Ms. PATH-FIT representatives from each area. The Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Major in Home Economics students led the invocation following the procession. Ms. Mabelle Gerbise, a Bachelor in Elementary Education student, extended a warm welcome, while Ms. Janice Rosell, a BEEd student, shared the event’s purpose. The gymnasium echoed with cheers as each group performed their unique chant, and the selection for Mr. and Ms. PATH-FIT 4 commenced.
Amidst the excitement, Gladys Casas from BEEd and Nio Jay Coyoca from the Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a major in Mathematics were crowned as Mr. and Ms. PATH-FIT. At the same time, BSEd-Math secured the title of Yell Chant champion.
Ricky Derecho, the PE Instructor and Coordinator, expressed his surprise and gratitude to all the individuals who extended their support despite the short preparation period. As the event’s hostess, Ms. Vyloune Apawan from BEEd ensured the proceedings flowed smoothly and kept the atmosphere energetic.
The COEd CTU DB orchestrated a memorable event for the PE Culmination, fostering camaraderie among the students while showcasing their talents and achievements.
