“It is hard to put down a good man.”
These were the wise words coming from the Campus Director, Dr. Ruben M. Ungui, as he reminded the selected student leaders from the seven existing organizations of Cebu Technological University Daanbantayan Campus to stay sturdy in serving the school during the Time for Tea: Re-echoing Seminar held at the campus library on June 10, 2023.
The time for tea sessions tackled different campus-related issues and concerns. Moreover, to select and provide an efficient response, leaders, with their allotted time, created miniature pieces to represent the corresponding situation alongside a video presentation showcasing scenarios relevant to the issue.
With the presence of Dr. Ungui, a healthy discussion happened; he shared some initiated plans for progress towards the campus from a broad perspective. He is a man with vision, as he also leaves with wise words for leaders to ponder.
This seminar was spearheaded by Mr. Jerick Niño R. Bojos, The Modern Fisher’s Editor in Chief, with Crystal Jane Zamora, Supreme Student Government President, and Engr’s guidance. Annalie C. Rubio, chairwoman of the Internationalization of ASEAN Integration, is also a valued speaker during the session.
Furthermore, during the seminar, Mr. Bojos confirmed his departure to another country to present the project proposal of having a “School Bus” on campus. With that activity, he hopes to acquire assistance from sponsorships. With their film presented, expressing his gratitude towards this goal with Ms. Zamora.
The re-echo had finished with leaders acquiring knowledge towards excellence in their work and professional development.
