The CTU-DB Oval vibrated with pulsating rhythm and electric energy as the spotlight shone on the PATHFIT 1 and 3 demonstration day on January 5, 2024. Themed “Hip-Hop Fusion: Uniting Yeba and Urban Beats,” the event was a dynamic convergence of talent and creativity, orchestrated by the guidance of Dr. Ricky Derecho, Chair for Cultural Affairs, and Ms. Ma. Suzette Gilbuena, esteemed PATHFIT Instructor.
The inaugural year students burst onto the stage with an explosion of vitality, showcasing their exuberant Yeba dance performances. Meanwhile, the seasoned second-year students captivated the audience with their polished execution of fundamental hip-hop dance routines, demonstrating a depth of skill and dedication.
Among the distinguished guests was Dr. Vivian M. Arreglo, the esteemed dean of the College of Education, whose presence underscored the significance of the occasion. In her address, she eloquently emphasized the event’s dual purpose: celebrating individual talents while advocating for the symbiosis of physical fitness and a wholesome lifestyle.
