In a groundbreaking milestone for Cebu Technological University (CTU) Daanbantayan, five students from the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program are the first to take part in international internships in Thailand and Hong Kong. Supported by the leadership of CTU Daanbantayan Campus Director, Dr. Ruben Ungui, and the Director of the School of International Affairs and Partnerships (SIAP), Dr. Tracy Mantos, these students are embarking on a transformative journey that will shape their careers in the global hospitality industry.
For the next six months, the five students will gain hands-on experience in top-tier hotels and resorts in Thailand and Hong Kong. They will be immersed in hotel operations, customer service, and resort management, learning from seasoned professionals while adapting to international standards of hospitality. This unique opportunity allows them to explore different cultures and deepen their understanding of the global hospitality landscape.

At the end of the program, they hope to secure full-time positions with their host companies, laying the foundation for successful careers in hospitality.
