CTU Daanbantayan and Bohol Island State University Strengthen Academic Ties through Benchmarking Visit

Cebu Technological University–Daanbantayan Campus (CTU-DB) welcomed a delegation from Bohol Island State University (BISU) for a benchmarking visit on January 27, 2025. The visit aimed to foster academic collaboration through campus tours, presentations, and discussions on institutional best practices.

BISU delegates, led by University President Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, during their benchmarking visit at CTU-Daanbantayan Campus—strengthening academic ties and fostering collaboration between institutions.

The event began with a welcome ceremony held at the CTU-DB Audiovisual Room, featuring opening remarks from Assistant Campus Director and Dean of Instruction Prof. Felixberto T. Lucabon Jr., followed by an address from Campus Director Dr. Ruben M. Ungui.

The BISU delegation was led by University President Dr. Anthony M. Penaso and included key officials such as Vice President for Academic and Quality Assurance Dr. Maria Lilibeth Castil and Balilihan Campus Director Dr. Jean F. Nebrea. As part of the program, guests were presented with multimedia overviews showcasing CTU-DB’s dedicated faculty, staff, and vibrant campus life.

Dr. Penaso concluded the morning session with his closing remarks, expressing appreciation for the warm reception and knowledge-sharing opportunity. In the afternoon, the BISU team engaged in benchmarking activities and toured various campus facilities to gain insights into CTU-DB’s academic programs and operational practices.
