Daanbantayan, Cebu, Philippines – June 2, 2025 — Cebu Technological University (CTU) Daanbantayan Campus has elected a new set of Faculty Association officers who will serve from 2025 to 2028, reinforcing the university’s commitment to academic leadership and participatory governance.
The election, held at the campus Multimedia Room, was overseen by Campus Director Dr. Ruben M. Ungui, who emphasized collaborative leadership as key to institutional growth. Prof. George R. Geollina, outgoing president, expressed gratitude for the faculty’s support and encouraged continued service and transparency.
Dr. Sutero M. Macabudbud Jr. was elected as the new Faculty Association President and will lead the team in advancing faculty development, academic innovation, and strategic initiatives aligned with global education standards.
