Community Extension Project Proposal for stronger and powerful partnerships

Intending to forge stronger partnerships and strengthen its extension services projects and programs, the Cebu Technological University-Danao Campus initiates Campus Community Extension Project Proposal In-House Review on February 10, 2023. This is to stay true to its commitment to providing quality education and responsive community extension by utilizing the expertise of its faculty in providing sustainable community service.

The activity mentioned above included a presentation of the various programs and projects of the faculties preparing their extension projects. Prof. Ivy A. Batican presented the GLOCAL Phase II, Prof. Edralin A. General presented the Kamias Panghugas Phase IV community extension project, Prof. Peaccy C. Ernacio presented the Dugang nga Panginabuhi: Hayahay Buhay Sabon Ipahalibway, Prof. Ann V. Sala presented the Agak A.N.A.K. (Agakon Nato ang Kabataan nga naa sa Kadalanan), Prof. Bysche R. Rivera proposed about the Serbisyong Publiko Idalit ko.

Their respective extension project leader presented the community extension project proposals from the different degree programs. They were evaluated by the Community Extension Services Chairperson, Dr. Emily C. Costan, to ensure that interventions that will be extended to the communities contribute to the thrust of the University and the country as a whole and are relevant, beneficial, and sustainable. 

Through the institution’s community extension services, the values of generosity, volunteerism, service, civic consciousness, gender sensitivity, love for cultural heritage, concern for the environment, responsibility, accountability, and stewardship are channelled among the community.
