CTU Danao partners with PNP Danao City

The CTU Danao CHILD Organization is brewing something for the university’s Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) students with one of the PNP Danao City’s programs on February 8, 2023.

The Child’s Hope and Inspiration for Learning and Development (CHILD) Organization embodies the traits of a true teacher, benevolent, generous, innovative, and adaptive to the change of time. They seek to promote all the pre-service teachers’ welfare in physical, intellectual, cultural, and social aspects that will benefit them in the long run in the teaching field.

The said Organization has found its way to one of the PNP Danao City’s programs, the ANAK. The Program (Agakon Nato Ang Kabataan nga naa sa Kadalanan) is dedicated to providing care and education to children on the streets who generally lack access to public school services and limited access to food, protection, and health.

Moreover, the Pre-Service Teachers and the PNP Danao City share similar goals and objectives that center on the welfare of the children of the Nation. In light of this, the CHILD Organization officers and the College of Education Arts and Science instructors were invited by the PNP Danao City Station to facilitate the ANAK. The program was initiated and facilitated by PNP Danao. CHILD Officers visited and interacted with the beneficiaries of the said program.

The Pre-Service Teachers are optimistic that the collaboration or partnership will succeed. Furthermore, the experience of the future educators of the BEEd students and the children’s experiences will undoubtedly benefit both ends.
