Japan Foundation provides free language instruction to CTU-Danao faculty

It is a “Konnichi-Wonderful” day for the students and staff of CTU Danao Campus. As a Japanese Language Education Adviser and a member of the Japan Foundation, Matsuda Ryoko sensei visited the institution on March 17, 2023.

Miss Matsuda Ryoko visited campus facilities such as the Dean’s office of the various departments, the Fabrication Laboratory (FABLAB), the Library, and the CTU- Danao Facility Centrum. Dr. Lislee C. Valle, Dean of the College of Education Arts and Sciences, accommodated her, along with Dr. Edralin A. General, Internationalization and ASEAN Integration Chairperson of CTU-Danao, and Prof. Catherine C. Terana, faculty.

During their visit to the office of the Dean of the College of Technology, Miss Ryoko was delighted to know that the college offers Nihongo classes to its students. In line with this, the visit is essential to forge a future partnership with Japan Foundation to conduct Japanese language training for selected campus faculty members.

The Japan Foundation is Japan’s only institution dedicated to comprehensive international cultural exchange programs worldwide.
