Cebu Technological University-Danao Campus and ASEZ (Save the Earth from A to Z) collaborated on February 11, 2025, to host the “Reduce Crime Together: Crime Prevention Project for a Safe World” forum at the university’s Student Activity Center.
Under the leadership of Dr. Rose Mary Almacen, university officials and students actively engaged in the event, demonstrating their support for its objectives.
ASEZ Representative Head, Heejin Seo, launched the program, outlining the organization’s commitment to sustainable development initiatives for humankind and the earth. Seo highlighted the lasting impact of collaborative action. In response, Dr. Almacen affirmed CTU-Danao’s partnership, praising ASEZ’s commitment to its mission.
The main part of the forum featured Deputy Police Chief Wenceslao Salimbangon, who detailed crime types and prevention strategies for citizens, especially students. In his discussion, Salimbangon stressed the importance of responsible action.
The event emphasized community empowerment through crime prevention awareness and collaboration, aiming to unite stakeholders in building a safer community.
