CTU-Danao CEAS Excels in March 2025 LEPT for Secondary Education

Cebu Technological University (CTU) Danao Campus’ College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS) has once again demonstrated academic excellence by ranking 8th among the Top Performing Schools in the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) for Secondary Education, with its graduate securing the top spot in the individual rankings.

The college achieved an outstanding overall passing rate of 92.16%, with 47 out of 51 examinees successfully passing the licensure exam. Leading the pack was Jeanlyn G. Colipano, a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science graduate, who clinched the 1st place in the Secondary Education level with a remarkable rating of 93.80%.

In addition, the Elementary Education candidates from CTU-Danao maintained a perfect passing record, with all 4 examinees passing the licensure examination, resulting in a 100% passing rate.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially released the results today, May 23, 2025, in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 1927, Series of 2024. Nationwide, the PRC reported that 16,282 out of 34,810 elementary teacher examinees  (46.77%) and 38,747 out of 62,225 secondary teacher examinees (62.27%) passed the LEPT.

This latest achievement adds to CEAS’s growing legacy of producing topnotchers. Last September 2024, graduate Judy Ann C. Lima ranked 6th in the Elementary Education licensure exam. Moreover, CTU-Danao CEAS secured 1st place as the Top Performing School in the Elementary Education and 5th place in the Secondary Education during that period.
