Cebu Technological University (CTU) Danao Campus’ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) programs undergo and onsite evaluation from the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) Technical Committee of Engineering today, June 19, 2025. The visit part of CHED’s ongoing quality assessment of the university’s College of Engineering (COE).
The evaluation follows CTU-Danao’s application for the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC), which ensures the university’s efforts toward quality education and excellence.












The Engineering Technical Committee Panel includes Engr. Nelson M. Pasamonte for the Mechanical Engineering program and Engr. Marianne L. Yumul for Electrical Engineering. Also part of the CHED Technical Team are Mr. Jefferson D. Sonillo and Engr. Sherwin C. Revereza. Heading the panel of experts is Dr. Leonardo Tanael Jr., CHED Region VII Education Supervisor II.
The program formally began with a welcome address from Dr. Jose Marie M. Anoos, Officer-In-Charge, Dean of Instruction. Dr. Tanael then introduced the Technical Committee Members assigned for each program. Program Chairs, Engr. Amadito P. Buot Jr. (BSME) and Engr. Tomashita P. Arenas (BSEE) presented videos showing an overview of their respective programs and highlighting recent developments and plans.
























The program concluded with a message of commitment from the Campus Director, Dr. Rose Mary L. Almacen, who reaffirmed the university’s commitment to delivering quality education and excellent services to its students and stakeholders.
The onsite validation is part of CTU-Danao’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement in providing premier learning environments and opportunities for its engineering students.
