Cebu Technological University- Danao Campus earns national recognition from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) after securing the 8th spot among the Top Performing Schools nationwide in the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), posting a 92.16% passing rate in the Secondary Level.
The awarding ceremony takes place during the Region 7 oathtaking event held on June 22, 2025 at the University of San Jose- Recoletos- Basak Campus, Cebu City. Representing the university were Dr. Joseph C. Pepito— the University President, Dr. Reylan G. Capuno— Vice President for Academic Affairs, and CTU-Danao campus officials— Dr. Gerly A. Alcantara and Prof. Emerita M. Tan. Key academic leaders also attended the events, in recognition of their role in guiding and preparing students for the board examination.
This marks the second consecutive national recognition for CTU-Danao. In the September 2024 LEPT, the campus placed 1st in the Elementary Level and 5th in the Secondary Level, affirming its consistent excellence in teacher education.
This milestone marks another achievement in the university’s continued pursuit of academic excellence. As CTU-Danao strengthens its national standing, the recognition serves as a testament to the transformative power of accessible and quality public education, shaping the next generation of Filipino educators.
