CTU Danao Holds Courtesy Call for CME Interns Bound for Hong Kong

A courtesy call was held on July 3, 2025, at the Office of the Campus Director for 11 student interns from the College of Management and Entrepreneurship (CME) of Cebu Technological University – Danao Campus. These students are set to embark on an international internship at the prestigious Langham Hotel in Hong Kong.

The event was spearheaded by Dr. Edralin A. General, Chairperson of the Internationalization and ASEAN Integration (IAI)/Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP), and was also attended by Dr. Ludimie R. Capuyan, Dean of the College of Management and Entrepreneurship (CME); Dr. Rodel S. Hintapan, Chairperson of the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) program; Dr. Gladies Mae C. Olivar, Chairperson of the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) program; and Prof. Looverville D. Quiño, On-the-Job Training (OJT) Coordinator.

Campus Director Dr. Rose Mary L. Almacen warmly welcomed the students and offered insightful advice to help prepare them for their journey abroad. She emphasized the importance of learning from others’ experiences and encouraged the interns to seize the opportunity as a pathway for both personal and professional growth.

The student interns also shared their expectations and excitement for the upcoming training. They expressed their eagerness to gain hands-on experience in a world-class hospitality environment, enhance their industry skills, and immerse themselves in a new culture.
