The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has officially granted the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) to the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) Major in Marketing Management program of Cebu Technological University (CTU) Danao Campus, as of July 22.
This achievement follows a comprehensive assessment process conducted by the CHED Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT), which involved an ocular visit and curriculum review on April 24. The evaluation confirmed that the BSBA Major in Marketing Management program meets the Policies, Standards, and Guidelines (PSG) set by CHED through the CHED Memorandum Order 17, series of 2017.
The accreditation adheres to Republic Act No. 7722, also known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994,” which mandates all higher education institutions to comply with established academic and operational standards, guaranteeing nationwide consistency in educational quality.
Mr. Eldimario O. Antiquina, Jr., CHED Supervisor for the BSBA Major in Marketing Management program, personally handed over the COPC document to Dr. Jose Marie M. Anoos, OIC-Dean of Instruction. Joining Dr. Anoos during the formal presentation at the CHED Region 7 Office in Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City were Dr. Ludimie R. Capuyan, Dean of the College of Management and Entrepreneurship (CME), and BSBA Chair Ivy Claire R. Debalucos.
This recognition underscores CTU Danao’s ongoing dedication to delivering high-quality education and producing competent graduates equipped for the demands of both local and global industries. The College of Management and Entrepreneurship reaffirms its commitment to serve the interests of its stakeholders by cultivating professionals who meet evolving industry standards and community needs.
