The University Research and Extension Team visited Cebu Technological University- Danao Campus on July 24, 2025, to monitor the progress of 2025-funded Extension projects for the first half of the year.
The monitoring visit was led by the Vice President for Production, Extension, and Resource Generation (VP-PERG), Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr., alongside his extension team member, Ms. Shajara Serate, who joined CTU-Danao faculty and project leaders in assessing the status and progress of various university-funded initiatives.
This initiative provided an opportunity for implementers to present updates on their ongoing projects, share their best practices, and identify areas for improvement. The visit was not only a venue for evaluation but also for mentorship, as Dr. Ancheta offered strategic insights to enhance project outcomes and align them with institutional thrusts and national development goals.
Ms. Serate facilitated the monitoring discussions on extension reporting standards, emphasizing the importance of community responsiveness, innovation, and measurable impact in project delivery, and provided technical guidance to project implementers reinforcing the importance of documentation, outcome-based reporting, and community engagement.
This initiative reflects CTU’s continuous pursuit of excellence in delivering quality research and extension programs that respond to the needs of partner communities and support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
