Cebu Technological University (CTU) Danao’s Contingent No. 9 – Sining Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Kulturang Mananayaw secured the Grand Championship in the Ritual Showdown of the Karansa Festival 2025, with their performance showcasing the concept of “ANG KABATAN ONAN ANG SINUGDAN SA TANAN,” emphasizing the hope and potential that lies within the younger generation, held yesterday, September 21, at the Ramon M. Durano Sports Complex.
Lyssa Kim Sicad contributed to the university’s representation by being crowned as Karansa Festival Queen 2025, along with awards for Festival Queen Best in Costume, Festival Queen Best Solo Performer in Street Dancing, and FQ Best Group Performer, demonstrating its pride and confidence during the presentation.
This achievement reaffirms CTU Danao’s commitment to earn recognition on both academic excellence and extracurricular engagement.
