The activities underscored the university’s continuing commitment to community empowerment, health promotion, and sustainable livelihood development.

The extension activities were led by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐲 𝐂. 𝐄𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨, whose guidance and direction ensured the effective implementation of the programs and meaningful engagement with community beneficiaries.

The B.I.S.A Program officially reached Barangay Maslog, equipping solo parents with essential skills for sustainable enterprise development. The initiative aimed to strengthen participants’ capacity to create income-generating opportunities while fostering self-reliance and economic resilience within the community.

Meanwhile, the implementation of SPEEP in Barangay Tuburan Sur marked another milestone in CTU Danao’s extension efforts, as solo parents were provided with practical and applicable skills for sustainable entrepreneurship. The program emphasized hands-on learning and empowerment, enabling beneficiaries to explore livelihood opportunities suited to their local context.

Complementing these livelihood-focused programs were a series of community outreach and hygiene initiatives conducted under the EF Extension Projects. In Barangay Maslog, the outreach activity successfully delivered essential hygiene supplies and promoted safe, healthy household practices. Through shared learning and collective effort, the program contributed to building a cleaner, stronger, and more caring community—one bottle, one smile, and one family at a time.

At the Food Park, vendors actively participated in a hygiene outreach centered on the theme “Clean Tools, Safe Food, Better Business.” Their engagement highlighted unity and commitment to proper sanitation and safe food handling practices, reinforcing the role of cleanliness in sustaining both public health and small enterprises.

The outreach program also extended to Tapahan vendors in Barangay Looc, where simple acts of giving emphasized that cleanliness, safety, and care are essential foundations for food-related livelihoods. The initiative recognized the daily efforts of local vendors who serve the community while encouraging improved hygiene practices.

In Barangay Tuburan Sur, families received essential hygiene supplies as part of the outreach activities, reinforcing the importance of cleanliness in every household. The initiative aimed to promote preventive health practices and foster a healthier and more resilient community.

The successful implementation of BISA, SPEEP, and the EF Extension Projects was made possible through the collaborative efforts of extension coordinators, faculty members, and community partners. Through these initiatives, CTU Danao continues to uphold its mission of delivering responsive, inclusive, and community-centered programs that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
