The Gender and Development (GAD) Office held a Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313) Orientation on January 13, 2026, at the CTU Danao Students Activity Center. This was part of the Pre-Deployment Internship Program for Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Students.
Engr. Delfa Castilla, the GAD Director, led the activity as the resource speaker. The orientation focused on the need to create space, respect, and an inclusive environment, especially as students get ready to begin their internships.
This initiative aims to give future professionals a good understanding of their rights and responsibilities under the Safe Spaces Act. It encourages professionalism and gender sensitivity in both academic and work environments.
