CTU Danao Holds Courtesy Visit at Danao City Parole and Probation Office

The Cebu Technological University (CTU) Danao Campus, through its Extension and Production Office, held a courtesy call and distribution of the Community/Training Needs Assessment forms on March 6, 2026, at the Danao City Parole and Probation Office. The activity was spearheaded by Extension Chairperson Dr. Ivy A. Batican, together with the Extension staff, as part of the university’s continuing efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships and develop responsive extension programs.

During the visit, the CTU Extension Team met with Ms. Ronilfa S. Paradiang, Chief Probation and Parole Officer, and Mr. Christian B. Abarca, Probation and Parole Officer II. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss potential areas of collaboration and extension initiatiaves that may support the office and its beneficiaries.

As part of the activity, Community/Training Needs Assessment forms were distributed to identify priority training areas that will serve as the basis for future capacity-building programs and community-based extension activities.

The iniatiative reflects CTU Danao’s commitment to community engagement and its mission to implement sustainable extension services that contribute to rehabilitation efforts and local community development.
