The Cebu Technological University (CTU) Danao Campus actively participated in the 2026 PAEPI International Extension Conference held on April 14–17, 2026, at Tag Resort, Coron, Palawan. Carrying the theme, “Next-Gen Extension: Driving Socioeconomic Change for Inclusive Community Development,” the event brought together extension practitioners, educators, researchers, and community leaders from various institutions to exchange innovative ideas and best practices in extension services.
Representing CTU Danao Campus were Dr. Ivy A. Batican, Dr. Emily C. Costan. Dr. Felix C. Costan, Dr. Jacquiline R. Dela Cruz, Dr. Edralin A. General, and Dr. Sarah Jane A. Colina. Their participation highlighted the campus’ continuing commitment to strengthening extension programs that respond to community needs and promote sustainable development through collaboration and innovation.


Day 1 (April 14, 2026)
The conference opened with the registration of presenters and participants, giving delegates time to connect, complete preparations, and review the program for the succeeding days.
Day 2 (April 15, 2026)
Activities formally commenced with the opening program, followed by plenary sessions led by distinguished speakers on extension innovation, community development, and inclusive growth. The day concluded with a fellowship night that strengthened camaraderie and networking among attendees.
Day 3 (April 16, 2026)
Parallel sessions were conducted across various clusters, where participants presented studies, projects, and best practices in extension work. This was followed by the awarding session recognizing outstanding contributions and notable presentations.
Day 4 (April 17, 2026)
Delegates joined mobile workshops at the farm eco-tourism sites, cultural heritage areas, and extension hubs of Palawan State University, gaining firsthand experiences and practical insights from successful community-based programs.


The conference served as a valuable platform for learning, collaboration, and professional growth. Through their attendance, the CTU Danao delegates gained new insights and innovative ideas that will further strengthen the university’s outreach initiatives and community engagement efforts.
