CTU Danao Continue Committe Planning Series

Following the successful opening of its committee planning sessions, Cebu Technological University (CTU) Danao Campus conducted the second part of the Presentation of Committee Plans, Programs, and Proposals on June 29 at the Conference Room of the Campus Director’s Office.

The session featured presentations by the Pollution Control Committee, Climate Change Committee, and Solid Waste Management Committee, which outlined their mandates, proposed programs, ongoing initiatives, operational requirements, and draft institutional policies to support the University’s sustainability and governance agenda.

The Pollution Control Committee discussed strategies for environmental compliance, pollution control, and campus environmental monitoring. Meanwhile, the Climate Change Committee presented initiatives on climate change adaptation, environmental sustainability, and disaster resilience, while the Solid Waste Management Committee highlighted programs on waste segregation, recycling, waste reduction, and environmental awareness.

Following the presentations, Campus Director Dr. Rose Mary L. Almacen directed the committee focal persons to incorporate the recommendations and feedback raised during the discussions and finalize their proposed policies, guidelines, and implementation plans for subsequent review and institutional adoption.

The continuing planning series provides a collaborative platform for refining committee initiatives, identifying operational priorities, and ensuring that proposed policies align with the University’s strategic goals.

Through this sustained planning initiative, CTU Danao continues to strengthen participatory governance, environmental stewardship, and sustainable campus development while reinforcing its commitment to quality public service and institutional excellence.
