BSHM Invited An International Cook For A Webinar Session

The BSHM Department conducted a webinar on determining different food service attributes that impact customers’ overall satisfaction in its continuing quest to establish internationalization and linkages. Prof. Ivan Carlo M. Corriente, BSHM Program Chair, invited a seasoned international cook in Mr. David George Sweitzer Sr. as the resource person. He worked as a Cook and a Storekeeper at Sheraton Inn in Pennsylvania, U.S.A., and worked as a Head Cook at Management Training Dutch Pantry in Danvel, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.  He also worked as a Prep Cook and got in charge of the Storing and Inventory at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania,  and worked as a Cook at Gold Old Days Bar in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.  He worked as an Assistant Chef and got in charge of the Storing and Inventory at Seafood Shante in Edgartown.  He also worked as a Cook at Bob’s Pizza and Manager at Vineyard Haven. Both students and instructors attending the said webinar were filled with significant and valuable insights on customer service and satisfaction, from CTU Dumanjug Extension Campus and other campuses. The certificate of appreciation was handed over to Mr. Sweitzer personally by the BSHM Program Chair, Prof. Ivan Carlo M.
