Cebu Technological University โ€“ Dumanjug Extension Campus, with the full support of the Campus Director, Dr. Rolito T. Imperial, and the Dean of Instruction, Dr. Samuel C. Villa Jr., successfully implemented three (3) major extension projects that highlight the Universityโ€™s strong commitment to community engagement, skills development, and educational innovation in Dumanjug, Cebu.

This 80-hour extension training was conducted by Mr. Isidro G. Lisondra, in Brgy. Tangil and Brgy. Panlaan, Municipality of Dumanjug, Province of Cebu. Implemented under the Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Automotive Technology, the program benefited 15 trainees (12 male and 3 female) and was made possible through the strong support of LGU Brgy. Tangil and Brgy. Panlaan. The activity equipped participants with essential skills in motorcycle maintenance, servicing, and overhauling.

Spearheaded by Dr. Alven A. Lopez,  this extension initiative served 45 teachers (39 female and 6 male) from Dumanjug Central School and Dumanjug National High School. The program introduced innovative and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence, enhancing instructional strategies and strengthening educatorsโ€™ capacity to adapt to emerging technologies in the classroom.

Facilitated by Engr. Jun-Jun A. Amparado, this 80-hour training program benefited 15 male trainees from the barangays of Liong, Looc, Poblacion, Sima, and Calaboon. Conducted in partnership with the Local Government Unit of the Municipality of Dumanjug, the activity focused on electrical installation, safety practices, and maintenance skills essential for community and livelihood development.

These extension projects exemplify CTU Dumanjugโ€™s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and inclusive community engagementโ€”bringing knowledge beyond the campus and transforming it into meaningful service for the people.
