Industrial Engineering Council

Industrial Engineering Council of Cebu Technological University(IEC-CTU) – Main Campus is a pro-student organization focused on the welfare and concern of IE students. It is established on June 13, 2006 and is composed of executive, auxiliary officers and an adviser.

IEC is recognized among other student organizations as it delivers satisfactory projects. In fact, IEC was awarded as best student organization for two terms, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 respectively. It is trusted by the College of Engineering and the institution itself to lead and supervise major activities like the Triennials Awards and the week-long Engineering days that provide various activities for Engineering students.

The Industrial Engineering Council is also affiliated with the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Incorporation (RAFI); thus, it annually engages in the Kool Adventure Camp (KAC) Leadership Training.

The council upholds core values: Camaraderie, Humility, Action, Nurture, Growth, and Excellence (CHANGE).

The mission of IEC is to provide quality projects that will hone the engineering profession with technical, leadership and managerial skills that promote the standards and camaraderie for progressive and quality development.

The vision of IEC is to be the center of excellence in research, leadership, management, and extension services that will develop globally competitive IE students that create positive change.

The objectives are to provide an adequate and conducive pedagogy in engineering and generate projects and activities that enhance the profession.
IE Council will continue to coordinate with organizations like RAFI, Play for Peace – Cebu and UNESCO club as these connections create a positive impact in the society.
