The Cebu Technological University and its long-time partner Korea-Philippines Cultural and Educational Exchange Center (KOPEK), celebrate the latter 17th Anniversary through its 2nd Korean Expo last June 10-11, 2022, at the CTU-Main campus.
Vice Mayor Donaldo “Dondon” Hontiveros of Cebu City was present during the event as a special guest. The CTU administration consists of Dr. Jerlito Letrondo, Vice-President for Admin and Finance; Dr. Edgar Tibary, Vice-President for Production, Extension, and Resource Generation and Dr. Joseph Pepito, Campus Director.
While Korean Consul General Song Sewon, Vice Consul Heo Jin, and a group of cultural dancers from Korea were in attendance.
The event highlights the competition composed of Speechfest, K-Pop Singing, K-Food Cooking, Fashion Forward, and Kimchi Demo, which across CTU campuses has its contestant and coach per category.
The said celebration seeks to sustain its longstanding relationship between the two countries, with CTU as its primarily event partner.
Furthermore, on June 11, 2022, was the medical mission with the Brgy Tinago residents as the beneficiaries.
