The Department of Communication-CTU Main, in partnership with The Climate Reality Project Philippines (TCRP), successfully launched its pilot episode of Klima ug Kalikupan, a series of talks and lectures on climate change concerning Cebuanos last May 19, 2022, via Facebook live on its pages.
The first episode entitled “Klima ug Kalikupan: Pagprotekta sa Kalikupan Sulod sa Trabahuan” featured sustainable and environment-friendly activities that were commonly practiced both at work and school.
Among the highlight of the talk was the insights shared by CTU University Director for NSTP, Prof. Asuncion Monsanto and Mr. Elizar Sabinay, Jr., Cebu Leads Foundation, Inc. (CLFI) Program Coordinator.
The event, spearheaded and hosted by Prof. Mydah Kabingue, Chairperson of the Department of Communication, was graced by Ms. Christine Paula Love Bernasor, TCRP Visayas Coordinator, as its co-host. It was also virtually attended by CTU students from various campuses and environmental enthusiasts from different parts of the Philippines.
