In mid-February of 2023, Cebu Caritas Inc. and the College of Education, CTU-Main, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the extension project entitled “Basic Psychological First Aid.”
The event occurred on the 5TH Floor Bdlg. of Cebu Caritas Inc., Cebu City, with Rev. Fr. Alex K. Cola Jr., foundation president, and JD Jerlito A. Letrondo- VP Admin of CTU. Along with Melona Case-Deguma, the project leader, Dr. Annabelle T. Pantaleon and Dr. Raymond C. Espina, College Associate Deans, together with the project members:
Dr. Dennis B. Plando, Dr. Harlene Marie Gamboa, Adrian Duites, Jemima Tandag, Dr. Johanna Paulo, Juanito Paulo Jr., and Ann Frances P. Cabigon. Dr. Jabin J. Deguma, College Extension Chair, and College Dean Dr. Reylan G. Capuno supported the endeavor.
The initial activity was on February 28, 2023- the “Understanding the Fundamentals of Psychological First Aid at Brgy. Cansuje Parish, Argao, Cebu. It is participated by the beneficiaries and the project members: Ann Frances P. Cabigon, Melona Case-Deguma, Jabin J. Deguma, Adrian Duites, Harlene Marie A. Gamboa, Irene O. Mamites, Dennis B. Plando, Regina E. Sitoy, and Jemima N. Tandag.
The project aims to capacitate the volunteers in the facilitation of basic psychological first aid and provide psychological first aid to the beneficiaries of Cebu Caritas Inc.
