CoEd conducts faculty Lenten Recollection

Last April 5, 2023, the LAMAC Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Pinamungahan, Cebu, held a Lenten Recollection featuring Vicente J. Igot, a faculty member of the College of Education at CTU Main Campus.

Dr. Igot’s lecture focused on “BUUT” and “KABUUT”, the core elements of his “BUUTTHERAPY”. The therapy aims to dissolve “KABUUT” and return to “BUUT”, which is pure goodness, peace, love, and happiness.

According to Dr. Igot, “KABUUT” is the domain of the “false self, “manifested by thoughts, emotions, and the physical body. He believes many problems today, such as conflict, war, division, competition, miscommunication, and suffering, stem from the false self’s influence. On the other hand, “BUUT” is the true SELF, which is the image and likeness of God, pure goodness, love, peace, and happiness. Unfortunately, “BUUT” is veiled by “KABUUT”, which masquerades as the true self.

In his lecture, Dr. Igot emphasized that it is essential to deny the “self,” referring to the false self in the domain of KABUUT, which is the self that Jesus Christ referred to, to be denied if we want to follow him. According to him, only by dissolving KABUUT and returning to BUUT can one achieve true peace and happiness. The “i” must die so that BUUT will resurrect.

He wished all LAMAC Cooperative members, admin, and staff would dissolve their “i” and be the BUUT God created.

The Lenten Recollection organized by the LAMAC COOPERATIVE provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to reflect on their beliefs and understand the necessity of dissolving “i” and returning to its source, BUUT. Moreover, all LAMAC COOPERATIVE members will be genuinely called BUUTAN.
