The College of Education of CTU Main Campus convenes for the annual Strategic Planning and Research Presentation Seminar on July 3-7, 2023. Fourteen college departments were gathered at Alta Cebu Village Garden Resort located in Cordova, Cebu. The five-day activity was full of academic engagements and interactive discussions, allowing the faculty to learn from the resource speakers daily.
On the first day, four resource speakers were already tasked to share their expertise to help the teachers improve their professional development.
The speakers were Dr. Veronica Calasang, Dr. Irene Mamites, Dr. Jabin Deguma, and Dr. Jonathan Etcuban. The second and third-day speakers were Dr. Vicente Igot, Dr. Cristie Ann Jaca, Dr. Esperanza del Fierro, and Dr. Salud Delos Santos. On the fourth day, they showcased the research paper presentations of the faculty, who did their oral presentation with wit and skillfulness in sharing their research.
The fifth day was the culmination of the five-day activity, where the presentation of outputs was done after the creative recap of the previous days’ activities.
During the closing program, the awarding and distribution of certificates were done and followed by the closing remarks of the college Dean, Dr. Reylan Capuno.
A fellowship dinner capped the week-long activity in the poolside with some singing and merry-making.
