The Cebu Technological University – Library Department organized a Campus BookFair, Professional Enhancement workshop for Library staff, and a Quarterly meeting for system Librarians from September 20 to 22, 2023, at the Main Campus.
This three-day event was designed to achieve multiple objectives: Promoting the Love of Reading; Supporting Literary Initiatives; Enhancing Library Services; and Promoting Service Orientation.
On the first day of the event, CTU invited various publishing companies to showcase their books, catering to the needs of the esteemed faculty members. The second and final day of the event featured the Librarian and Staff Quarterly Meeting, led by Mrs. Morena Carlos, Librarian III.
This event was organized with the aim of aligning with CTU’s objectives, particularly in pursuit of improved global rankings and in accordance with RA 7722, also known as the Higher Education Act of 1994. Mrs. Carlos believes that by fostering a love for reading, enhancing library services, and promoting a service-oriented approach, it contribute to the overall excellence and growth of our institution.
