It is a section wherein the Physician examines the patient for any possible medical signs or symptoms of a medical condition. During this new normal set-up, only patients who are in need of emergency treatment will be allowed to stay for further management while waiting for the ambulance.
Doctor’s Area
This is where the Doctor examines a patient and discusses their medical problems with them in privacy. A fiber barrier is installed during this pandemic for the Doctors’ and Patients’ COVID protection and safety. This is to prevent the transmission of the virus.
Nurse’s Area
This is where the Nurse does the reports, requisition of supplies and medicines, etc. A fiber barrier is also installed for the prevention of COVID transmission. Social distancing measures are also followed.
Waiting, Consultation and Treatment Area on New Normal Set-up
Due to the new normal set-up, patients are being assessed and treated by the medical personnel here. A barrier is installed to prevent transmission of diseases and viruses between the medical personnel and the patients.
Medicines
One of the primary health care services of the Medical Clinic is the provision of free medicines to patients after consultation with the Physician/ Nurse in response to their illness or injury. Medications administered to the patients are stored securely in the medicine cabinet.
