Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr. is the 2nd president of Cebu Technological University. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Lapu-Lapu City College and Talisay City College and the Chairman of Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) of Region VII. As a Civil Engineer, he is a National Director of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), an active international member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Structural Engineering Institute . He was conferred ASEAN Engineer by the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO) and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer specialized in Structural Engineering by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). His accomplishments with PICE made him the recipient of the President’s Award for 2016 and 2017 for being an outstanding PICE National Director and Chairman for Research and Development.

Dr. Ancheta is a Career Service Executive , the highest form of eligibility in the country required by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Career Executive Service Board (CESB) for executive government positions. He also completed the Regional Integration in Asia (RIA) course at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) , an intensive program which enables university executives to test their ideas on cross-border education. He underwent an enhanced leadership capabilities training on technical education and skills development in Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore.

Adrian P. Ybañez, DVM, DRDM, Ph.D

Dr. Adrian P. Ybañez is the Vice-President for Research and Development, a faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Veterinary Medicine, and Director of the Institute for Molecular Parasitology and Protozoan Diseases of the Cebu Technological University, Cebu City, Philippines. He has more than 15 years of teaching and/or administrative experience, including as former Veterinary Hospital Administrator for three years and Dean and University Research Director for one year from a tertiary private institution. He is into community extension works with the Boy Scouts in the Philippines since 2004 and the Companion Animal Practitioner's Association of the Philippines in June 2019. He is an officer of local and national organizations, including as a National Council Member of the Council on Education of the Philippine Veterinary Medical Associations. He is affiliated with the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP). He is an international council member of the Tropical Council for Companion Animal Parasites.

He obtained his Bachelor of Animal Science (Cum Laude) major in Animal Health from Visayas State College of Agriculture, Baybay, Leyte. He finished his post-graduate Diploma in Research and Development from the University of the Philippines Open University (as Dean's list). He has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Southwestern University, PHINMA, Cebu City, Philippines. He obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (Cum Laude) from Leyte State University, Visca, Baybay, Leyte. He is a licensed veterinarian with a Ph.D. in Veterinary Sciences (Internal Medicine) from the United Graduate School of Veterinary Sciences of Gifu University and Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Japan. He is a Diplomate in the Philippine College of Veterinary Public Health and a candidate Diplomate in the Philippine College of Canine Practitioners. He is a graduate of the Master of Crisis and Disaster Risk Management from the Philippine Public Safety College of DILG and is currently pursuing Master of Development Management with the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP). He is actively involved in multi-disciplinary research but with great interest in small animal medicine, parasitology, and tick-borne disease research.

His research interests include parasitology and microbiology, vector-borne diseases, Veterinary Medicine and diagnostics, molecular biology and phylogenetics, small animal practice, epidemiology, public health, and social sciences.

Engr. Maria Elena A. Aparente is an Associate Professor II of the College of Engineering at CTU Main specializing in Industrial Engineering. She finished her postgraduate Masters of Science in Management Engineering from the University of the Visayas. Her recent community extension engagements include ETECHS-WISH (Engineering Technology- Waste Into Sustainable Handicraft) and PROKKK (Programa Alang sa Dugang Kabalo ug Kahanas sa Pagpagan sa Kooperatiba).
