CTU – Moalboal students showcased their talents in voice acting by performing various drama pieces addressing important societal issues as of their Literature for Development (LD) class led by Ms. Divine Grace Gaudan and Ms. Junabelle Gempero, that took place at the Research Building of the Campus on January 13, 2024. The event brought together 3rd year BSEd Math, BTLEd, BSHM, and 2nd year BSFI students.
During this activity, Ms. Divine Grace Gaudan, the LD teacher, explained that the radio drama aimed to raise awareness among students about real-life societal issues.
Ms. Gaudan emphasized that the radio drama provided a platform for students, especially college students, to become more aware of the world around them. She highlighted that the event encouraged students to open up about their own experiences.
The event concluded with the announcement of winners, with Team Purok Tres receiving the trophy and the champion award. Team Resonance secured 2nd place, Team Eargasm took 3rd place, and Team PURA claimed 4th place. These four teams outperformed the other 21 competing teams.
Additionally, the event featured a variety of talents, including a spoken poetry performance by Cecil Camallere Jr. and Sarah Jane Anoba, a crowd-pleasing Musical Ensemble, and a dance duo presentation by Mia Mae Borromeo and Val Dominic Sario. / Kryzdale Mameng
