CTU-Moalboal Celebrates Unity and Faith with Sinulog sa CTU 2024

CTU-Moalboal successfully celebrated the Sinulog sa CTU 2024 today, February 2, 2024, at the school’s covered court with Mr. Vicente Pocong as the host.

The event commenced with an uplifting message from Dr. Charmaine P. Antecristo, Campus Director, who emphasized the significance of joy and togetherness in overcoming challenges.

“Let us all enjoy the spirit of joy, unity, and faith… May this celebration serve as a reminder that no matter what challenges we face, we can overcome them together,” she shared.

Judged by Mr. Benjie V. Visitacion, Ms. Deleaine Loiux Pepito, and Mr. Neane Cliff G. Domugho, the event featured five competing contingents from various colleges, including Fisheries, Education, Business Management, Technology, and Arts and Sciences.

Special performances by the Prelim Department, CTU Musical Ensemble, SSG, Ang Taga, and FSTLP were also performed in honor of the holy child.

In the competition, the College of Education secured the title of “Best in Street Dancing,” while the College of Technology earned the “Best in Ritual Costume”.

The ritual showdown results placed the College of Business Management in 2nd place, the College of Education in 1st place, and the College of Technology as the Sinulog Sa CTU 2024 Grand Champion.

Adding glamour to the event, the Festival Queen competition revealed winners: 2nd Runner-up, Princess Mae Martinez from the College of Education; 1st Runner-up, Jim Mari Abenido from the College of Arts and Sciences; and the Sinulog sa CTU 2024 Festival Queen, Icyl Mae Domugho from the College of Technology.
