Mary Angeli Del Mar, a former member of Ang Taga Publication at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Moalboal Campus, made a remarkable mark in the education sector by securing 10th place in the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) for the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) program, with an impressive rating of 92.60%. The results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on May 23, 2025.
Del Mar shared her journey through a heartfelt Facebook post, humbly crediting her achievement to divine guidance and support.
“From ‘Good morning FUTURE topnotcher’ to ‘Good morning TOPNOTCHER,’ [I] never told anyone about my struggles and desires. Lord, you were my secret keeper. In times of doubt, you were my assurance,” she wrote.
Her success stands as a testament to her dedication, perseverance, and unwavering faith, bringing pride and distinction to CTU Moalboal.
In addition to Del Mar’s achievement, CTU produced a total of ten (10) topnotchers in the March 2025 LET, highlighting the university’s strong commitment to academic excellence and educator development.
Top-performing campuses include CTU Argao, CTU Carmen, CTU Danao, and CTU Main.
In the secondary level, Jeanly Guinita Colipano of CTU Danao topped the exam, placing first nationwide. Marie Jessa Lisondra Montemayor of CTU Main ranked eighth, while Nelia Soler Gutierrez of CTU Main and Sheen Sarbasa Montezon of CTU Argao both placed 10th.
In the elementary level, Juliana Mae Berame Magtagad (CTU Main) placed seventh. Ricamar Bentoy De Los Reyes (CTU Carmen) and Jean Rose Mamac Lamela (CTU Main) tied for eighth. Arc Tura Degamo (CTU Main) ranked ninth, while Rhea Nicole Muaña Hoyo-a and Del Mar tied for 10th place.
CTU’s strong showing in the March 2025 LET highlights its role as a leading institution in teacher education in the country.
