ISUZU Cebu Donates ₱3.4M Worth of Vehicle Parts to CTU Moalboal Automotive Program

Cebu Technological University (CTU) Moalboal Campus received a donation of vehicle parts worth ₱3,435,767.86 from ISUZU Cebu Inc. to support the Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Automotive Technology (BIT-AT) program.

The formal turnover ceremony was held on May 28, 2025, at the Industrial Engineering (IE) Conference Hall, 4th Floor of the New Building. The donation was officially handed over by ISUZU Cebu Inc., led by Operational Manager Donn I. Embalzado, along with four other company representatives.

Prof. Serge Thomas S. Villanueva, chairman of the BIT Automotive Department, expressed his gratitude for the donation, emphasizing its importance in advancing hands-on education for future automotive professionals.

“This contribution will truly enhance our students’ learning experience by giving them access to real automotive components they can study and work with. It’s a big help in improving our training and preparing them for real industry challenges,” Villanueva said.

As part of the ceremony, Mr. Embalzado also delivered a presentation on ISUZU’s best practices and recent innovations in automotive technology, highlighting the evolving demands of the industry and the importance of staying aligned with technological advancements.
