MOALBOAL, Cebu — The Cebu Technological University Moalboal Campus marked the start of Welcome Week 2025 with a lively and colorful Opening Salvo on Day 1, bringing together new and returning students for a celebration of culture, community, and campus pride.

The morning program began with Preliminaries followed by stunning cultural presentations from the Mithing Bahandi Dance Troupe and a heartwarming performance by the Musical Ensemble. The event then transitioned to a series of messages that set the tone for the academic year ahead.

SSG President Hon. Jean Ann Quider delivered the Welcome Address, emphasizing the importance of student unity and active participation. SAS Dean Dr. Catherine P. Tapales presented the Statement of Purpose, outlining the goals and opportunities that await students this year. Closing the messages, Campus Director Dr. Charmaine P. The program served as a vibrant introduction to campus life, fostering a sense of belonging among students and strengthening the bond between the academic community and its newest members.
