Moalboal, Cebu – Cebu Technological University (CTU) Moalboal Campus successfully held its Cooperative (COOP) Pre-Registration Seminar on August 14, 2025, equipping participants with the knowledge and requirements for cooperative membership.
The program began with opening preliminaries, followed by a Welcome Address from Dr. Charmaine P. Antercisto, Campus Director, who emphasized the role of cooperatives in promoting financial literacy and community growth. Engr. Limic M. De la Calzada, Faculty President, shared the Statement of Purpose, while Dr. Feliciana G. Cababat, COOP Coordinator, introduced the seminar’s resource speaker.
The seminar proper started at 8:25 a.m., covering essential cooperative principles, membership benefits, and the registration process. An Open Forum gave attendees the chance to ask questions and clarify policies.
In his Closing Remarks, Dr. Leomar A. Ypanto, Faculty Vice-President, encouraged members to be proactive in supporting the cooperative’s mission. The event concluded with a fellowship lunch at 12:00 noon.
