Cebu Technological University (CTU) proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) this September 2025. With the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod-Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” the celebration honors the heroism, dedication, and integrity of the Filipino civil service workforce.
In his message for the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. emphasizes the vital role of the civil service in ensuring continuity and stability in governance. He highlights that the bureaucracy serves as a permanent institution that preserves institutional memory and implements public policies beyond the electoral cycle.
Marcos calls for a “reorientation” of the civil service to address the demands of the 21st century, such as digital governance, and urges government workers to embrace their role as “constitutional stewards” by upholding technical competence and ethical discipline. He concludes by wishing for the continued success of civil servants in their dedication to nation-building.
