Cebu Technological University–Pinamungajan Campus affirms its unwavering commitment to delivering transformative, quality education.
The onsite validation visit conducted by the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT), led by Dr. Bernard S. Pantonilla, Education Supervisor II of CHEDRO 7, was a significant step in ensuring the quality and compliance of academic programs and institutional standards.
The visit involved a thorough evaluation of facilities, faculty qualifications, curriculum implementation, and support services to assess alignment with CHED’s policies, standards and guidelines. Dr. Bernard S. Pantonilla, together with the RQAT, provided constructive feedback and commendations, highlighting areas of strength while also identifying opportunities for improvement.
The institution expressed appreciation for the team’s expertise and guidance, viewing the validation as a valuable opportunity to further enhance the quality of education and institutional performance.

A two-day Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) onsite validation visit was successfully conducted for the Bachelor in Industrial Technology (BIT) program, with majors in Civil Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, and Drafting Technology. This activity was spearheaded by Engr. Leonardo Tanael Jr., Education Supervisor II of the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VII (CHEDRO7). The validation aimed to assess the program’s compliance with CHED policies, standards, and guidelines, focusing on curriculum implementation, faculty qualifications, physical facilities, instructional resources, and student support services. The evaluation process included thorough inspections of laboratories and classrooms, review of academic documents, and consultations with faculty and administrative personnel. Engr. Tanael, together with the RQAT members, provided constructive feedback and recommendations to further enhance the delivery of quality education and ensure alignment with industry standards and national development goals. The visit reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement in technical and vocational education. A second round of RQAT onsite validation visit is scheduled for August 26–27, 2025, covering the BIT program majors in Interior Design Technology and Welding and Fabrication Technology. This upcoming evaluation continues the institution’s efforts to uphold quality assurance and expand its academic offerings in alignment with evolving industry demands.
