CTU Researchers Recognized by the NRCP

National Research Council of the Philippines

Distinguished researchers of the Cebu Technological University, Dr. Adrian P. Ybañez, the University Vice-President for Research and Development, and Dr. Lanndon A. Ocampo, the OIC-University Research Director, were recognized by the National Research Council of the Philippines for their accomplishments in research and development this year (2020).

Both received confirmation for the NRCP Achievement Awards, the highest recognition given by the NRCP to its outstanding members for their achievements in the fields of natural sciences, health sciences, engineering, industry, social sciences and the humanities.

The awarding ceremonies were supposed to be during the Annual Membership and Scientific Meeting of NRCP but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 situation.

Dr. Ybañez and Dr. Ocampo are NRCP regular members of the veterinary medicine and the engineering and industrial research divisions, respectively.

NRCP is a collegial scientific organization under the Department of Science of Technology of the Republic of the Philippines. /RD
