Vice President for Research and Development, Dr. Adrian Ybanez led the strategic planning workshop on February 3 – 5, 2021 at the Cebu Palm Grass Hotel, Cebu City.
Dr. Ryan Urbano, University Director for Research and Development delivered his welcome address and Dr. Adrian Ybanez provided input on the operation plan 2021-2023, PPMP, IPCR, and Research Budget Plan.
The University Directors and Research Center Directors wrote and presented their proposals for the Department of Budget Management (DBP) Funding 2022 while the university directors evaluated the proposed plans and corresponding budgets for submission and approval.
Dr. Sheilalaine Romulo, Director for the Center of Social Innovation and University Director for Gender and Development organized a project titled “Understanding Domestic Violence in the time of Pandemic: Multiple Studies on the Intersectional Dimensions of Violence” with the College of Arts and Sciences philosophers, social scientists and educators as an output of the strategic planning workshop.-ccmr/rmmm
