The College of Education initiated an Enhancement Webinar – Workshop on preparing a table of specifications and test item analysis and computing students’ grades via Zoom on November 25, 2021.
Dr Rosario M. Duazo, former Dean of the College, lectured on the specifications table- its importance and the how is of doing it. Meanwhile, BSEd Math Chair Rogelio C. Sala, Jr. talked about test item analysis, and Student Teaching Chair Braulio M. Diongson presented the grading system. They did not only tell but also engaged the fellow faculty members (full time and part-time from all campus colleges) in a workshop that immediately followed after each input.
Participants’ active engagement was made evident in the outputs sharing of each College to which the respective facilitators gave their feedback.
While it is a review for the majority of the participants, it was a much-appreciated shared knowledge for the freebies in the teaching industry.
“I am thankful to have participated in the webinar. I need to learn them- TOS and item analysis, particularly to do them confidently. Truly, the webinar has enlightened me on these, and I appreciate the College to have organized such a webinar,” shared one newly hired part-time instructor during the sharing of impressions.
