Cebu Technological University: Main Campus conducted a webinar about National Health Insurance Program on March 18, 2022, from 2 PM-4 PM.
Given the constantly changing situation brought by the pandemic, CTU- Main Campus aims to move forward by implementing limited face-to-face classes for the 2nd semester of AY 2021-2022.
For the institution to effectively adapt, undergraduate and graduate students must acquire specific medical requirements upon enrollment.
The requirements include PhilHealth registration or other medical insurance with COVID-19 coverage for all admissions. Hence, a webinar was conducted via CTU-Main Medical Clinic’s Facebook live as mandated by the Commission on Higher Education CHED-DOH JMC No. 2021-004.
The PhilHealth Region 7 Public Affairs Unit discussed PhilHealth’s registration process, membership types, and its necessity for effectively limited face-to-face classes.
The Republic Act 10606 or the National Health Insurance Act of 2013 is a PhilHealth mandate to provide accessible health insurance coverage to all Filipinos.
