Cebu Technological University Bantayan Extension Campus conducted a pre-service teacher deployment and cooperating school principals and mentors’ orientation last April 5, 2022, at CTU Bantayan Covered Court.
The program was graced by the cooperating principals from Madridejos National High School, Mrs Felisa Batuigas; Bantayan National High School, Mr Melville Dela Pena; Sulangan Integrated School, Mrs Elisa Matulac, and Patao National High School, Mr Victor S. Ungod, cooperating school mentors, CTU Officials, and the 28 BTLED practice teachers from the College of Education.
Professor Felixberto T. Lucabon, Jr., Dean of Instruction, discussed the Teaching Internship Guidelines. At the same time, Prof. Braulio M. Diongson, Student Teaching Chairman, explained the Cooperating Teachers Guidelines and the Pre-Service Teachers Roles and Expectations.
Prof. Diongson introduced the practice teachers, whom the participating secondary school principals formally accepted. Dr Vivian M. Arreglo, Dean of the College of Education, officially confirmed the deployment of pre-service teachers who met all of the CHED and department’s academic requirements.
The orientation was conducted in accordance with the CTU Memo. No. PDO4- 170, S. 2022, which is about the guidelines on the deployment of students for the on-the-job training program.
